1. How to Register VidiCable for Mac
It is totally free to get videos from Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo, or other videos sites by using VidiCable. But you can only download the first 5 minutes of each video from 5 sites (Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max) with the free trial version. To unlock this limit, please purchase a license and register for the program.
Step 1 Run VidiCable on your PC, and click the Key icon on the top-right corner.
Step 2 Then copy and paste the registration Email and Code you received into the popup registration window.
2. How to Record Videos from Twitter, YouTube, Vimeo or Else?
Step 1 Select Website
Launch VidiCable on your Mac, and then you are required to select the website that you want to download videos from. For quick finding the site, please use keyword. After selecting, the program will restart to apply the selection.
Step 2 Select Video Quality
Then, tap on the Gear icon on the top-right corner to access the Settings window, where you can select the video quality, change the output path, and enable the option for hardware acceleration.
Step 3 Search for Videos
VidiCable only allows you to add and search videos from YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, Hulu by using keywords. So if you want to download videos from any other site than these ones, please open your web browser, find the video you want to download from that site, and copy & paste its URL from the address bar to VidiCable's search box.
Step 4 Download Videos
The software will retrieve information about the video and give you a choice of downloads soon. Bear in mind that, the quality will vary depending on that of the original video. If the video was recorded and uploaded in standard definition, it won’t be available to download in high definition. Now simply click the Download icon to start your downloading.
3. How to Record Videos from Streaming Sites (Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max)?
Step 1 Select Website
Open VidiCable, and select the website that you want to download videos from. After that, the program will restart to apply the selection. Meanwhile, the web player of Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, HBO Max, or Hulu will be opened automatically for your locating and copying the video link.
Step 2 Log into Account
Enter any word into the search bar, and press "Enter", then you will be prompted to log in to Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, HBO Max or Hulu.
Step 3 Customize Output Settings
Next, click the Settings button on the top right corner to open the Settings window, then you can set the Output Quality, Video Format, change the Audio Language, Subtitle Language and more.
Step 4 Search for Videos
Enter the name of the video you want to download or just directly copy the link and paste it into the search box. Press the "Enter" button on your keyboard, then VidiCable will list all the related videos and offer the download option.
Step 5 Select Specific Audio Track, Video Quality and Subtitle
VidiCable allows you to select specific video quality, audio track and subtitle track when you are trying to get videos from these 4 sites. If you want to download a TV show, simply click the download icon, followed that a window will pop up allowing you to select titles as well as seasons, and to choose audio track and subtitles by clicking "Advanced Download" at the bottom left corner. For downloading a movie, please click the icon beside "Download" to open the window.
Step 6 Download Videos
When all settings are done, you can click the download button to start downloading. Once the video has finished downloading, you can find it in the destination folder, or click Library > the folder icon to open the output folder.
